With this broad selection, we’re confident that we can offer the ideal shutter for any installation.
Full Height
Full height installations have shutter panels that span the whole frame, providing a seamless look without a split. You can add a mid-rail to tilt separate sections and control the light to meet your desired ambiance. The lower section kept closed can offer privacy while the top section remains open to allow natural light to filter through the louvres.
Our plantation shutters come in two options: visible or hidden tilt rods. Choose the visible rod for a classic look or the hidden one for a modern, sleek appearance.
Tier on Tier
Tier-on-tier shutters are a versatile choice to add privacy to your bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms or any space, day or night. Its panels and louvers can move independently making it an ideal choice to eliminate unwanted attention, while emphasizing the beauty of a Victorian sash window.
Also, these shutters offer easy access to open or close your window which completes the look.
Café
Café style plantation shutters are a perfect choice if you’re looking to add privacy to your home while still letting in natural light. Their unique design only covers the bottom half of your window, showcasing your existing window features.
From stunning stained glass to classic wooden sash windows, café style shutters complement and enhance them beautifully. Plus, their partial coverage makes it easy to operate your windows for optimal natural ventilation.
Bay Window
Our made-to-measure shutters present a perfect solution to showcase your bay’s architectural features, while maximizing the available space and sunlight.
Unlike other window coverings, our crafted shutters provide custom angles and sizes to optimize illumination in your home. You can tilt them as required for a comfortable and glare-free environment, making your bay the focal point of your home.
Special Shapes
Our plantation shutters are made to fit any window, no matter how curved or angled, large or small. Whether it’s a triangle, arch or circle, our shutters are customized to suit any unique shape.
Not only do they add style to your home, but they also offer insulation to keep you warm. This is a great option for older properties that are commonly fitted with single paned glass in the windows.
Door & Wardrobe
Wardrobe shutters differ from window shutters in that they primarily serve as ventilation systems rather than light controllers for your interiors. By utilizing louvres, allowing fresh air to circulate freely, providing a damp-free environment for clothes or stored items.
In case of not requiring adjustable louvres, they can be fixed to the panels, providing equal customer flexibility like all our shutters. Along with added benefits of customizable fitting, these door and wardrobe shutters are available with louvres running full height, making them an attractive addition to your wardrobe.
Panel Configurations
Single Panel
Our shutter panels are designed to offer ease of use with a single panel situated within the frame and hinged on the left or right, making them perfect for small window or French door installations.
Bi-fold Panels
These hinged shutter panels are commonly known as a bifold shutter. They are designed to fold at the hinged joint, creating a beautiful and functional addition to your home’s windows.
Multi-fold Panels
The number of panels that can be hinged together without a tracking system is maxed at four, depending on your choice of shutter material. Keep in mind, lighter hardwoods are more accommodating for increased hinged panels, as opposed to heavier materials like MDF and ABS.
Louvres & Tilt Rods
Louvres – We provide an array of Louvre options, featuring five standard sizes ranging from 47mm to 114mm, crafted from any of our premium materials. Our customizable tilt controls come in three types including Front Mounted, Clearview and Hidden Tilt, all expertly crafted to safely move the Louvres with ease.
Front Tilt Rod – This is the classic shutter design, featuring a tilt rod visible on the front of the louvres. The rod can be center-mounted or offset, and serves to angle the louvres either open or closed with effortless up and down movements.
Clearview – The discreet rod is mounted at the edge of the louvres, on the back of the panel, in order to achieve the contemporary appearance of the hidden tilt system–all without any additional expense. This clever subterfuge allows one to integrate modern, functional design without having to break the bank.
Hidden – This tilt system is a modern approach that replaces visible tilt rods with a hidden mechanism within the panel stiles. When you tilt one, every single louver moves with it. For shutters with a mid-rail or tier-on-tier split, the sections remain separately operated exactly as with the visible tilt rod option.
